MAY 23 – OPENING DAY! Delicious fresh spring greens, flowers & bedding plants, meadow-raised meats, eggs, maple products, aroma therapy products, baked goods, home-made jewelry and more. Live alternative folk music with Polish Moses.
JUNE 20 – DAIRY DAY! Homemade goat milk fudge, goat milk yogurt, a bevy of local cheeses and the famous Udder Challenge from Stone & Thistle Farm. Live Appalachian & old-time traditional music 11 am – 1 pm. Sponsored by Latte Lounge.
JULY 4 – INDEPENDENCE DAY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL! Strawberries galore, flag-making projects, free tastings and live music.
JULY 18 – HOLISTIC HEALTH DAY! - Chair massage with Chanda - let the stress roll right off! Free tastings, informational display on mind and body health, and live entertainment. Badra Bahiya Bellydancing troupe, 11am.
JULY 25 - GRILL DAY! - Free burger & veggie samples, hot-off-the-grill, and great recipe ideas for summer BBQ parties. Live music with Just Throw Money 10 am - 12 noon. Sponsored by Ruffino’s Pizzaria and Restaurant .
AUGUST 1 - FINE ARTS FESTIVAL! The Farmers Market will be at the heart of a street-wide fair with fine arts, jewelry, demonstrations, live music and a juried competition. Main Street closed to traffic.
AUGUST 8 - KID'S DAY! –Fun activities, educational games and crafts for kids. Live music with Skip West from 10 am – 12:00 noon. Storytime with Mother Goose, 12 noon. Orpheus Theatre’s Starstruck Players and Kids On the Go perform at 11:00 am and 11:45. Sponsored by Central New York Radio Group
AUGUST 22 - VERRY BERRY DAY! - Featuring all things berry! Free tastings of delicacies made with locally-grown berries. Educational activities for kids and live acoustic blues and R&B with Brian Shafer and Paulina McGiver.
AUGUST 30 – Labor Day Weekend! Free tastings, activities for kids, & a huge variety of fresh, locally-raised foods to BBQ with great recipe ideas for the holiday weekend.
SEPTEMBER 5 – LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Free tastings, activities for kids, & a huge variety of fresh, locally-raised foods to BBQ with great recipe ideas for the holiday weekend.
SEPTEMBER 12 – GRAND & GLORIOUS GARAGE SALE! The Farmers’ Market will be part of the area’s largest, most exciting garage sale event. Main Street closed to traffic.
SSEPTEMBER 19 - BREAKFAST AT THE MARKET! Free samplings of corn-fritter pancakes, smothered in local maple syrup or cream. sausages hot off the grill and delicious, healthy, homemade granola with goat’s milk yogurt! Live Cajun Music with Cri Du Bayou
SEPTEMBER 26 - HARVEST FESTIVAL! Hearty harvest fare will be the theme of this week’s event with free tastings of apples, apple pastries, apple cider and decorative ideas for the fall season using pumpkins, squash, gourds and other colorful fall vegetables.
OCTOBER 3 - BEER & BLUES CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY! Free samplings of Brewery Ommegang’s delicious local brews, special gifts and offers from market vendors, free samplings of potato-beer soup and live roots and blues music with George Kilby Jr. Sponsored by Brewery Ommegang.
OCTOBER 17 - PUMPKIN DAY! Pumpkin Painting for kids, free samples of pumpkin soup, ‘all-things-pumpkin’ baked goods, great decorating ideas for Halloween and a toy-making display by the McLeans. Old-time country, bluegrass and blues with Tumbledown Shack 10 am – 12 noon. Sponsored by The Greed Toad Bookstore.
OCTOBER 31– HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Closing Day at the market will feature discounts and bargains on the last of the season’s fresh local produce. Free popcorn and trick-or-treating for kids in costume.
